The artists' dream: a single beam of light, bent under its own weight into a perfect horizon arc spanning the width of the Oude Kerk (approximately 25 meters) that would be able to move from floor to ceiling. To be realised in three short months.

We moved quickly from conceptualisation to design and production. For the structural design we collaborated closely with world-renowned engineering firm Arup. Together with music curator and organist Jacob Lekkerkerker, a composition was made to accompany the motion of the light beam. Visitors could experience the performance every evening around sunset for forty consecutive days.
